Tornado demolishes field at Dundalk

Trainer Tom McCourt saddled the first winner at Dundalk today, when his Tornadodancer won the Hanlon Machinery Race, under Ben Curtis.

The 62 rated son of Princely Heir chased the leaders, eventually led over a furlong out, before holding the challenge of runner-up Invincible Ash by half a length.

Afterwards McCourt stated "that was Tornadodancer's 24th run and his first win! Hopefully the handicapper wont be too harsh on him now and, although he is entered in Tralee next week, wont be suited by heavy ground and may go elsewhere."
