Totally Dominant lived up to his name as he justified 8/13 favouritism by two and a half lengths in Bellewstown’s bumper.

Patrick Mullins sent him into the lead over three furlongs out and kept him up to his work as he won from the staying on Itchymei’mscratch (4/1). Mclaren Vale was back in third at 33/1.

Patrick Mullins said: “I kept things simple and he only does what he has to do. I like that in him. He could go for a winners’ bumper in Galway. We might also consider a mile and a half maiden there. I think we’ll keep him going on good ground as he’s bred for it.”

Angel Chorus was a notable non runner due to being in season.

Tote players were paid out at odds of 9/10 on the winner who was following up on a Punchestown bumper success for trainer Willie Mullins.
