Rudi Trucker battled well to see off Cloughmile in the concluding hunters chase at Thurles today.
Jimmy Mangan 's charge hit the front seven from home under Damien Murphy but showed a tendency to jump left.
He was strongly pressed two out by Cloughmile but found enough on the run-in to post a half-length victory.
"He'll stay hunter chasing and we'll go wherever there is one that comes up for him. He'd probably be better left handed," said Mangan afterwards.
