Truth Stretches Ballinrobe rivals

Trainer Tom Taaffe enjoyed a welcome turn when his Stretch The Truth landed the 'Come Racing in Ballinrobe in 2010' Handicap Hurdle, at 16/1.

Ridden by Barry Geraghty, the son of Oscar chased the leaders before progressing to lead approaching the final flight, eventually recording a three parts of a length win over Gallery Man

Afterwards a delighted Taaffe reported “that was a welcome winner as Stretch The Truth's owner David Kavanagh is just after getting the all-clear following two years of chemotherapy.”
