Uninhibited was different class to her six rivals in the three-year-old fillies' maiden at Gowran Park.

Charles O'Brien 's charge popped away well from gate two and led the field along. She was then joined by Close To My Heart and Flagstaff on the outer at the four pole.

However, as the horses straightened for home she travelled smoothly for Declan McDonogh as those two rivals came off the bridle.

Close To My Heart and Flagstaff wilted in the final two furlongs as Uninhibited began to draw clear.

It was Cavelli who tried to chase her down on the run to the final furlong but she couldn't land a glove on the winner who was eased down to score by six lengths.

The winner was the 5/4 favourite from 2/1 this morning. Cavelli kept on for second at 20/1.

Charles O’Brien said: “She is over 16 hands and is a lovely big scopey filly who is only growing into herself now.

"That will do her confidence good. It will be the eternal quest for black type and she could come back here for the Hurry Harriet.”

On her penultimate start, Uninhibited had come in third to Earring over course and distance in May. Earring was subsequently second to Bocca Baciata in a Group Two at the Curragh last weekend.
