Whosaidso came from last to first to claim the St Angela's College Sligo Handicap Chase under a finely judged ride from Mark Walsh.

Walsh was content to sit out the back in the early stages of the three-miler before making ground up going to the fifth last.

The Saddler's Hall gelding, running in the third colours of owner JP McManus, jumped into contention at the second last and hit the front turning for home.

He was in control from the last where he was asked for an effort and went on to score by four-lengths from Pocketfullapennies

The 10/1 winner was making his seasonal reappearance and had attracted some support this morning from 8/1 into 5/1 before being easy to back on course where he opened 7/1.

Winning handler Denis Cullen led away Whosaidso after his victory.

Bendala Bleu ran off the bend going out on the final circuit and hampered Thelobstercatcher The later worked his way back into contention before fading in the closing stages to finish sixth.
