Whats On The Menu dines out

Barry Geraghty sealed a double for the evening when giving Whats On The Menu a confident ride to win the three mile maiden hurdle at Punchestown.

The John Berry trained seven-year-old came home at 10/1, five lengths clear of Willie MullinsUp Ou That with Noel Meade’s Jakros taking third.

“We might give him another run over hurdles and then go chasing over the summer,” trainer Berry said.

“We’ll see if he can pay his way but he’s no Arkle!”

Geraghty took up the running six out from pace-setter Carmun and looked the winner a long way out. Curling was sent off the 15/8 favourite but finished fourth.
