Galiana created a little piece of history of Pat Flynn by winning the 2010 SEPAM Tipperary Perpetual Cup at Clonmel.
The mare was not only providing the trainer with his fourth win in the race in five years, it was also his 600th career success.
In truth Flynn would never have had a moments worry as Gary Carroll's mount cruised round before sprinting clear for a 10 length success as the 7-2 favourite.
"That's fantastic. We'll look at the amateur handicap at Galway for her and she's also a seriously good hurdles prospect," said Flynn.
"She's had two runs over hurdles and was running a big race on her second start only to fall. But I'm happy that she's still a novice.
"She's a well-bred mare, by Galileo, and is owned by Thomas Cahill, who has been a big supporter of mine for 27 years."
John Kiely's Oneeightofamile (7-1) found things much easier in the Lynch & Partners (Solicitors) Maiden than he did on his last start.
After winning a Dundalk bumper the five-year-old found himself lining up in Grade One Company but cut no ice behind Hidden Universe at the Punchestown Festival.
Making his debut in the Flat sphere though, Pat Smullen had no trouble in guiding him home five-and-a-half lengths clear of Montero
"He's a nice horse and is still learning. He won his bumper at Dundalk and might go back there for a handicap as he likes the track," said Kiely.
"He's a summer horse and hopefully we'll have a bit of fun with him."
Smullen also won on Liam McAteer's Nans Best (7-1) in the two-mile handicap.
Paul Townend continued his good run when timing his challenge to perfection on Fairwood Bob (4-1) in the Coolmore NH Sires Beginners Chase.
"That's wonderful. He loves good ground and has improved a little bit for his break," said winning trainer Philip Rothwell.
"Paul was brilliant on him. It looks like they went a bit too quick and they stopped in front and he stayed on."
