< Drive Time (11-4) made all the running to see off his two rivals in the John Buckley Auctioneers Killarney Race.

Jim Bolger's gelding had won his only previous start at Leopardstown and showed his inexperience, with Kevin Manning having to cajole him along, even giving him a reminder down the back straight to keep him interested.< Red Rock Canyon loomed up menacingly until his stamina seemingly gave way, while Elyaadi plugged on at one pace, but Drive Time eventually got the hang of things to score by two and a half lengths.

The race lost some of its lustre with the withdrawal of Dermot Weld's Universal Truth, but the master of Rosewell House still found his way into the winner's enclosure after Casual got off the mark for the season in the Lixnaw Fabrications Handicap.

Odds-on favourite Francisco Goya appeared to have sealed victory when collaring long-time leader Greannmhar but Pat Smullen, who had started to niggle Casual half a mile out, brought the 7-1 chance with a run down the outside to beat the rallying Greannmhar by a length and a quarter.< Separate Ways (8-1) simply destroyed his rivals in the Robin Parke Memorial Handicap.

The four-year-old had shown precious little on his most recent outing at Leopardstown in May but having his first start for new handler David Marnane, he strode to the front under Declan McDonogh at the top of the straight.

The further he went, the greater his advantage became and he passed the post 10 lengths ahead of nearest rival Carbonia with McDonogh easing down. He could head to Galway.< Halaziya put her experience to good use in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden and saw off the threat of fellow 11-4 joint-favourite Karma Lina < Barna Bay would not have been an obvious winner of the Malton Winners Enclosure Novice Chase beforehand but the 10-year-old dug deepest for John Cullen to see off Toby Jug by a length at 25-1.
