Geraghty appeared to have got the advantage in the Paddy Power Supporting JT And Jonjo Britain V Ireland Riders Challenge Handicap Hurdle, when his mount Friendly Society had almost a length lead after the last.
However, McCoy drove Jansboy (11-4 favourite) upsides in the final two strides and claimed the prize by the narrowest of margins.
