Alderwood and Clonmel victor Eightybarackstreet should give the mares something to think about.

Racing starts at 5.30 with the Athleague Maiden Hurdle, for which Park Ranger could be a warm order.

The Christy Roche-trained gelding went very close in a race of this nature at Wexford in October and has returned this year with three pleasing spins on the Flat, including an easy handicap success at Tipperary in April.

The Pyramid Bookmakers Maiden Hurdle has a more open look to it, with Granaruid clearly vulnerable after three runner-up efforts.

Martin's Asymmetrical makes his handicap bow in the second division, but Sligo second Heavenly Bound makes more appeal on the bare form.

Tipperary fifth Kilbarry Classic sets the standard for the likes of Sally May to aim at in the Boyle Mares Ladies INH Flat Race, while the concluding roscommonracecourse.ie INH Flat Race is a decent opportunity for Paudi The Punter, a dual point winner who has crept closer to the target in each of his bumper starts.
