The jockey must have thought he was on for a double when Mr Aussie cruised up to take the lead in the Bambury Bookmakers Dunshaughlin Handicap Chase, but Mutineer (5-1) dug deep for Paddy Flood and beat him by five and a half lengths.

There was an exciting finish to the Bambury Bookmakers Ashbourne Handicap Hurdle, with Barry Cash getting Native Clan home by a neck.
