Jim Bolger is finishing the 2019 Flat Turf season in great form and recorded his seventh winner since last Sunday when Feminista (6/1) made all the running in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies’ Nursery.

Rory Cleary ’s mount, off co-bottom weight and in first-time blinkers, built on a reasonable sixth place finish here in a 1m nursery last weekend to hold the challenges of Flower Garland (9/2) and Azila (3/1 fav) by three quarters of a length and a short head.

The winner, a home-bred daughter of Dawn Approach, was placed in a couple of early-season maidens and was having her third run back having had a mid-summer lay-off.

“She was looking around up the straight here the last day and the shades helped,” said winning trainer Jim Bolger.

“I don't think there is another nursery left, she'll be value next year.

“She'll probably stay a mile-and-a-quarter and goes on all ground.”
