Euro So Brave lived up to her name when running out a game winner of the second division of the two-and-a-half mile handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse.

Martin Burke tracked the leader on the 7/1 shot and she travelled well to challenge turning for home.

The King's Theatre mare hit the front before the last and kept on well in the closing stages to record a length-and-three-quarters victory over Select Opportunity

The victory is sure to have cheered trainer Willie Austin who was at home recovering from a broken leg.

Euro So Brave had been placed on her last two outings, the most recent when third in a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe.
