Connections of the evergreen Captain Cee Bee will look at the Istabraq Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown on December 29 for the 11-year-old.

The JP McManus-owned gelding could be aimed at the race named after his owner's triple Champion Hurdle hero.

Captain Cee Bee pleased trainer Eddie Harty when runner-up to 2011 Champion winner Hurricane Fly in the Morgiana Hurdle.

"He's in good form and I was pleased with him the last day," said the Curragh-based Harty.

"He was just caught for a bit of toe round the bend, but I was pleased. They lost him there for 100 yards but he never went any further back after that which was pleasing - he was actually coming back a bit at the finish under an easy ride. He deserved his place in that race.

"We'll put him in the Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas. He'll either go for that or something else over the Christmas period. I'm not sure what yet."
