News has filtered through this morning that Mr. Teruya Yoshida of Shadai Farm has privately purchased the Group One Matron Stakes winner, Champers Elysees.

Champers Elysees has of course given members of owners grouping, Fitzwilliam Racing, their greatest day in the sport with her Matron Stakes success.

They are delighted that her career will now continue in the colours of Mr Yoshida, of Elusive Kate and Saphresa fame, to remain in training with Fox Covert Stables and the Murtagh team.

Champers Elysees currently has a Sun Chariot Stakes (Newmarket, October 3rd) aim.

Eugenio Colombo, Mr Yoshida's Bloodstock agent, has confirmed the deal and stated that the plan is for the filly to remain in training with Murtagh until the end of 2021.
