Our Conor puts his unbeaten record over hurdles on the line at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day.

Having shown some fair form on the level earlier this year, the Dessie Hughes-trained three-year-old has carried that through to the jumps game with victories at Navan and Fairyhouse.

Hughes is hopeful there is more to come in the Grade Two Q8 OILS Juvenile Hurdle.

"He's in good form and the ground won't cause him in any problems," said the County Kildare handler.

"He won well the last day and if he can turn in a similar performance I'll be happy with him. Hopefully he's still improving. I think he'll be a better horse when he gets on a bit of better ground."

Champion trainer Willie Mullins has a major contender in French recruit Blood Cotil, who bolted up on his Irish debut at Fairyhouse in November.

"We were very pleased with his first run for us. I thought it was a very good performance and he has been fine since," said Mullins.

"We're very much looking forward to him."

South South West was a well-beaten third behind Our Conor at Fairyhouse, but has since won at Gowran Park and renews rivlary.

Our Conor is also reopposed by Fairyhouse runner-up Stocktons Wing, while Crouching Harry, Fisher, Money Spider and One Fine Day complete the field.
