Tower of Pisa (10/11 fav) took full advantage of what looked a good opportunity in the Irish Racing Industry Fundraiser For Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin In Memory Of Pat Smullen Maiden (Div II).

The daughter of Golden Horn, a promising fourth over a mile on debut here a fortnight ago, was travelling well just behind the leaders turning for home and she went clear at her ease in the straight to win by a facile six and a half lengths from Palace Rock (28/1).

Shane Crosse was on board the winner, a half-sister to Group 3 winners Sea Lord and French Navy.

Brendan Powell, assistant to winning trainer Joseph O’Brien (double on the card after Queenship said: “She ran a good race here the first time when she got the hang of things inside the last furlong-and-a-half and the step up in trip today suited.

“She travelled beautifully today and she's a filly going forward. It might not have been a great maiden but she's done it nicely.”
