The three day Derby Festival starts today at the Curragh with the first race due off at 5.45pm.
The latest ground description is Good (Good to yielding in places) on the round course and Good to Yielding (Yielding in places) on the straight course.
Today and Friday are expected to be hot and dry with the possibility of some showers Friday night into Saturday morning.
There is eight meters of fresh ground for the Derby on Saturday.
The stalls will be in the centre of the course for all sprint races.
