Persuasive could make her seasonal reappearance in the Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh.

After finishing second in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on her final start last season, the John Gosden-trained four-year-old is being lined up for a crack at the Group Two on Saturday.

Prior to losing her unbeaten record on her first start at the top level, the daughter of Dark Angel had previously captured a Group Three at Sandown and the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot.

Chris Richardson, racing manager to owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: "I think she will probably go to Ireland for the Ridgewood Pearl (Lanwades Stud Stakes). That was the plan.

"She has wintered well and has now got terrific hind-quarters - let's hope there is plenty of speed coming from them.

"We are very happy with her and she is good with herself. I watched her work and she moved very well."
