Trainer Denis Hogan kept up the good recent work at Wexford today when his Dedoctorsdaughter ran out the 18 lengths winner of an incident packed Easyfix Rubber Products Mares Beginners Chase, winning under Brian Cawley.

The first fence saw three horses unship their partners while leading Missed Cloud spectacularly exited at the third. The runners were then preceded by riderless horses for much of the race but int the end, Dedoctorsdaughter moved to the front at the third last and stayed on strongly for an 18 lengths win over Baidin Fheilimi

Hogan was absent but Cawley later stated “Ger Fox got injured earlier and I got the ride as a result.

“At the second last she took three lengths out of them and she was entitled to do it as it was a poor race."
