Devils Bride brought up the Willie Mullins treble at Tipperary with a comprehensive win in the bumper at Tipperary under Patrick Mullins.

The six-year-old gelding impressed on debut at Roscommon last month, when putting 12 lengths between himself and Waylander.

His lofty reputation saw him hammered down from 11/10 to 1/2 favourite on the off today and having tanked along throughout was ridden clear for an easy seven lengths success.

Upon dismounting Patrick Mullins said: “He’s a different horse on the track than at home. He wouldn’t light any fires at home. I love horses like that, they keep it for where it counts.

“In fairness he probably needs good ground. We’ll have to have a think about Galway now.” Spa Hill (13/2) was best of the rest, a length and a quarter ahead of 20/1 shot Celtic Fashion

Willie Mullins had earlier been successful with Make Your Mark and Laganbank
