The National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham and the Irish Grand National are possible options for Rich Revival following his determined victory at Navan on Sunday.

Despite being sidelined by injury for well over a year and a half, the nine-year-old has returned seemingly better than ever.

After winning on his comeback and chasing debut at Fairyhouse a month ago, the nine-year-old followed up in a decent two-and-a-half-mile handicap last weekend.

Trainer Liz Doyle believes there is plenty more improvement in her charge.

Doyle said: "He came out of the race with no problems and we're not sure which way we're going with him yet.

"There is a valuable novice handicap back at Navan the Sunday before Cheltenham, I think, and we could possibly enter him in the four-miler at Cheltenham, but the ground would have to be very soft for him to go there.

"The Irish Grand National is another race we have at the back of our minds.

"It might be a bit soon for him to go for that, but this time next year he could be too exposed, so we might be better taking a chance this time when, hopefully, we've still got a bit left up our sleeve.

"I think there is plenty left in the tank and even though we haven't run him over longer distances yet, he is an out-and-out stayer and a fantastic jumper."
