The going at Thurles ahead of this afternoon's "Kinloch Brae" meeting is now heavy, soft to heavy in places on the chase track, following over 6mm of rain in the past 24 hours including further light showers this morning.

Racing takes place on the polytrack at Dundalk tomorrow evening, with another eight race card scheduled to get underway at 5.50pm.

The weather forecast warns of heavy rain later today with showers tomorrow.

The ground at Limerick meanwhile is currently heavy. They race at Greenmount Park next Wednesday and, in the interest of safety, the limit in all races has been reduced to 14 horses.

A decision on whether the inside or main hurdle and bumper track is to be used at Limerick next Wednesday will be taken before declaration time.

The going at Gowran Park is heavy ahead of their Thyestes Chase day next Thursday.
