The Stuart Crawford trained Legacy Gold made it two from two as she took the last at Catterick this afternoon, the Racing Again On 26th February Mares' Standard Open NH Flat Race.

Ridden by the trainer's brother Steven, the daughter of Gold Well won on her debut at Sedgefield last month by three and a half lengths and she followed up today by an impressive seven lengths.

Sent off the 13/8 favourite she was held up towards the rear in the early stages before moving closer over a mile from home.

She hit the front two furlongs out and went clear a furlong from home, crossing the line for an easy seven length success.

Newcomer Delta Forty finished second under James Reveley at 11/4 while another newcomer came third, that was the Venetia Williams trained 12/1 shot Falcon's Present.

The winner is out of a half-sister to Mossbank, who won six times in his career including the Munster National at Limerick and the Grade 2 Clonmel Oil Chase, while the dam herself, Durgams Delight, won nine times on the level.
