Halpin strikes again on Master

Master Melody repeated the dose for young Gary Halpin when scoring again at Dundalk tonight.

The Kevin Prendergast-trained gelding followed up his victory here a fortnight ago, when he gave the 17-year-old his first winner.

The 7/2 favourite hit the front just over a furlong out and Halpin was strong on his mount as he kept him going for a half-length success over Strandfield Lady in a bunch finish. Tribes And Banner was just a neck back in third as just over a length covered the first five home.
