The opening race at Leopardstown this evening, The Kilmacud Claiming Race saw the 5/4 favourite Hard Rock City from the Michael Grassick stable come home in front under Johnny Murtagh
Winning trainer Grassick said afterwards, “I wasn’t too sure if we’d won it was very tight, Eddie [Lynam] asked me would I have settled for a dead heat and I would have. He will probably go to Galway now for the 7 furlong handicap on the Sunday.”
There was no claims made for anything in the race.
