One Track Mind has been ruled out for the season after sustaining a leg injury.

The seven-year-old won the Grade One Stayers Hurdle at the 2016 Punchestown Festival for trainer Warren Greatrex and was sent over fences at the beginning of the last campaign.

However, after two unsuccessful runs, One Track Mind switched back to hurdles to finish fifth in that same Punchestown heat and was last seen finishing down the field in an Auteuil Grade One in June.

Greatrex said: "One Track Mind has unfortunately sustained a leg injury last Monday. He is out for the season and we are not to sure what the future holds, but going forward, he will have time off.

"We will reassess the situation in the summer. He gave me one of the best days in my career which I will always remember.

"We will be doing the best by the horse."
