Jack adds fourth Limerick win

Limerick specialist Jack Absolute made it three course wins since Christmas (and his fourth in total) when proving a game winner of the Greenmount Racing Club Handicap Hurdle today.

Ridden by Kevin Coleman, the grey son of Fantastic Light raced in mid-division before eventually improving to lead before the straight, staying on well for a four lengths win over Moving On

A failed Charles Byrnes gamble, a rare enough occurrence, happened when his The Dew At Night (10/1 into 7/2f) finished a well held third.

Afterwards winning trainer John Joe Walsh briefly stated "Jack Absolute will run over Easter next, probably at Fairyhouse."
