Apple's Jade is on course to have her next start in the Listed Quevega Mares Hurdle at Punchestown on Wednesday.

The Gordon Elliott-trained five-year-old took her Grade One tally to three when beating Vroum Vroum Mag in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse in December.

Owned by Gigginstown House Stud, Apple's Jade - who won at the Punchestown Festival in April - heads nine entries which also include the Willie Mullins-trained duo Limini and Whiteout.

She is in the Mares' Hurdle, Stayers' Hurdle and Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham, and Elliott said: "Apple's Jade had a little break after the Hatton's Grace and the plan has always been to go to Punchestown for the Quevega Hurdle on the way to Cheltenham.

"She has a number of options at the Cheltenham Festival and we'll see how she goes on Wednesday first. I've been happy with her and the timing of the race suits us so we're looking forward to getting her out again."

Elliott completes double with Monkshood

Monkshood completed a first and last race double for championship leader Gordon Elliott in the bumper at Clonmel.
