Limerick goes ahead, Clonmel also passed fit

Limerick will go ahead today following an early morning inspection.

The ground is heavy and racing will take place on the inside track.

It's a mainly dry forecast for today in the Limerick area.

The track was forced to cancel yesterday's card after heavy snowfall a few hours before racing was due to start.

The first goes to post at 2.15 this afternoon.

Down Royal also race on this Bank Holiday Monday and the ground there is now heavy, soft in places. It is set to be dry and bright today.

Clonmel has been passed fit for racing tomorrow with the ground heavy.

It is set to be mainly dry in Tipperary with frost tonight, however, temperatures are set to rise to 8 degrees tomorrow afternoon.
