Beggy settled the son of Footstepsinthesand in behind the leaders and improved to challenge 2f out and kept on well to lead close home for a one and three parts of a length win over Milvian Bridge
Winning trainer Martin said afterwards: “He showed a lot of promise when he ran at Listowel. The bit of a cut in the ground really helped him here.”
“The trip is certainly as short as he would have wanted it and he will probably just have one more run this season.”
