Disko could head to Down Royal in November for his first big target of the season.
Trainer Noel Meade has the two-day Festival there in mind for the Grade One-winning grey, who signed off in the spring with victory in the Growise Champion Novice Chase over an extended three miles.
"We'll get him fit first and see what happens. There are a few horses in the same bracket. I would imagine there's every possibility he'd go to the North," Meade told At The Races.
"Whether he'd go somewhere before then or not, I don't know. He probably will, I suppose, but there's nothing set out yet as to where anything is going to go."
"He's done really well. He's a lot heavier than he was and he's matured a lot."
