Napa Valley made it two wins from two starts when taking the Finlay Volvo Cars Race at a price of even money.

The half-brother to very speedy juvenile Tiggy Wiggy had made all when making a winning start over 1m at Lopardstown.

This time he tracked stablemate Keats and was pushed along to head that one over a quarter mile from home. He kept finding more for Seamie Heffernan and went on to score by three quarters of a length from Keats, with the fourth home Emperor Of The Sun catching the eye in fourth having been very slowly away.

Trainer Aidan O’Brien said: “He’s very straight forward and very relaxed. He’ll handle all types of ground but a typical Galileo, very genuine and had plenty of speed to win over a mile first time out.

“He’d have no problem going a mile and a half and stepping into Group class. He could be a horse for the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood or the Voltigeur at York."
