Racegoers at Leopardstown over Christmas can look forward to seeing Sizing Europe in action after trainer Henry de Bromhead went some way towards finalising plans for his star chaser over the Festive period.

Connections had been considering a tilt at the William Hill King George VI Chase at Kempton.

However that option was ruled out by de Bromhead on Twitter this morning, with a couple of options still available for his charge at the Foxrock venue.

De Bromhead tweeted, "We've definitely ruled out the King George for Sizing Europe due to the ground. The Dial A Bet chase and Lexus chase are now his two options".

The ten-year-old gelding is the red-hot 1/2 favourite with the sponsors for the Paddy Power Dial-A-Bet Chase over two miles and a furlong, while he is also one of a dozen entries for the Lexus Chase over three miles.

The Lexus has attracted a stellar entry with the likes of Flemenstar, Sir Des Champs and Tidal Bay all set to line-up.
