After winning the second with Viking Hoard Charles Byrnes doubled-up with Not For You in the Dawn Omega Milk Handicap Chase.

Last successful in a maiden hurdle at Wexford in April of 2013, the son of Beneficial was placed five times since, going down by just a length and a half over the course and distance in May of last year.

Having disappointed on his most recent outing at Wexford, the ten-year-old victor was sent off at 8/1 this afternoon with Donal McInerney in the saddle.

Settled towards rear, he took closer order with a circuit to race, and came with his challenge from three out.

He was ridden as they bypassed the next, and jumped the last in second, keeping on best on the run-in to reel-in the 5/2 favourite Fairymount Boy close home. Invincible Don (16/1) was a length and three parts back in second under Mark Enright, while the aforementioned market leader was a short head away in third.

Byrnes said afterwards: "He deserved that. He was unlucky here a few times and actually always ran well here.

"Davy (Russell) was very unlucky here once when he was carried out and he made one bad mistake the last day which put him out of the race.

"He'll tip away in that grade. There's nothing between them and he might get another one."
