The Tommy Stack trained Onenightidreamed bounced back from a slightly disappointing run in the Lincolnshire to take the feature at the Curragh today, the Group 3 Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes.

Successful on both starts last season (in the Lincolnshire and the Group 3 Amethyst Stakes), the son of Footstepsinthesand finished seventh in the Lincolnshire on his most recent start.

Sent off a 9/1 chance today he was settled behind the leaders before making progress to dispute the running with over a furlong to race.

Inside the final furlong he had a good battle with Flight Risk getting up in the closing stages to score by half a length under Wayne Lordan for owners the New Pension Fund Syndicate.

Flight Risk, who won this race twelve months ago, was returned at 12/1 under Kevin Manning for Jim Bolger. Joailliere (9/1) completed the placings a further length back in third under Pat Smullen for Dermot Weld. Sruthan who won the Lincolnshire on his last start and won this race in 2014, was sent off the 2/1 favourite and he finished a neck back in third under Chris Hayes for Paul Deegan.

Fozzy Stack said afterwards: "He's tough, and was a bit interfered with early on last time. He'd a lot of weight, 16lb more than last year, in the Lincoln but he came home well. He also came out of that race well.

"There is a Listed race at Cork in a few weeks time and also the Amethyst Stakes but it depends if it keeps raining. He'll probably go on his holidays during the summer, if we get a summer!"
