Paddy O Dee produced a game front-running performance to land the spoils in the handicap chase at Ballinrobe.
Declan Bates kicked for home before the second last on the 7/1 shot and he galloped on strongly. Good Decision chased home the winner from the last but could only get within a length-and-a-half of Philip Rothwell's charge.
The gelding had been running consistently this year and was not winning out of turn.
