Que Pasa recorded her third hurdle win of the season, and her second at Ballybrit, when taking the Easyfix Rubber Products Novice Hurdle under Barry Geraghty.

Harry Kelly’s charge, who won a two-mile novice here at the Festival six weeks ago, again showed her liking for this track when getting the better of 11/8 favourite Indevan on the run-in.

The pair jumped the last together and looked set to fight out an exciting finish but Geraghty’s mount found much more under pressure.

The 4/1 chance drew right away in the closing stages to score by four lengths, with Giant’s Quest the same distance further back in third.

Kelly said, “She got a great ride and Barry rode her with loads of confidence. Missing the second last might have helped as she didn’t get there too soon. When she can go she can really go, and we should have a lot more fun with her.

“We’ll look at the Grade 3 mares novice in Down Royal and there is also the Grade 3 novice at Tipperary. Then she’ll get a break. We’ll take it one step at a time but she may come back for Cheltenham in March. Barry was quite impressed with her.”
