Punchestown now heavy

The going is now heavy at Punchestown following 2.5mm of rain overnight.

The seven race card, featuring the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, gets underway at 12.35pm.

Seven go to post at 2.05 for the two and a half mile Grade 1, with Rubi Light looking set to go off favourite after being well-supported into a general 2/1 this morning.

Also on the card is the Listed INH Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Novice Hurdle over two miles at 1.05. Noel Meade's Dylan Ross has been installed as the early even money favourite against his four rivals.
