Kevin Ryan’s East has been given the green light to contest the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh.

Winner of her first two starts, the Frankel filly went on to finish second to the impressive Newspaperofrecord at the Breeders’ Cup.

Making her seasonal debut in the French 1000 Guineas, she ran another meritorious race when third, beaten just over a length.

She will now be given another chance to gain a Classic victory.

Ryan said: “She’ll go for the Irish Guineas.

“She took the French run well and I was very pleased with her.”
