The second divide of the opening 4yo maiden at Lingstown saw a horse with a Punchestown Festival bumper run under his belt, Bishopslough, come out best in an exciting three horse conclusion with Georgie Lad finishing second and Pumbaa in third.

Winning trainer Tony Mullins said afterwards: "He is a Fruits Of Love and we kept him all year for here on good ground. But you saw what we got!

"We think he is good. He idled a lot going to the last. Hopefully he can build on that. He might go to the Newbury Sales next week, we’ll see.

"Kevin (winning rider Kevin Sheehan) works for Willie (Mullins) and he is from Nenagh. Willie recommended him to me." (EM & DM)
