Singapore success for Tatts

LUCKY NINE notched up his fifth Group 1 victory today when winning the Group 1 KrisFlyer International Sprint at Kranji, Singapore.

A multiple Group 1 winner in Hong Kong, the son of Dubawi who was partnered by Brett Prebble, pulled clear at the quarter pole to demolish his opposition winning the race by three lengths. This win has brought LUCKY NINE’s career earnings to an impressive €3,750,680.

Trained by Caspar Fownes for Dr Chang Fuk To and Maria Chang Lee Ming Shum, LUCKY NINE (formerly known as Luck Or Design) was sold at the 2008 September Yearling Sale by Islanmore Stud for €9,000 to his former trainer, Andrew Oliver.
