Following a track inspection at Naas this afternoon, the track remains unfit for racing due to frost and the Sunday's fixture, featuring the Grade 1 Lawlor's of Naas Novice Hurdle, has been cancelled and will now take place on Wednesday, 13th January.

Clerk of the Course Brendan Sheridan stated “it is frozen solid and temperatures got down very low last night.

“The temperatures won't rise during tonight or into tomorrow so the track is frozen and the meeting has been cancelled.”

On the point to point scene, and following a further track inspection at Tinahely this afternoon ahead of the Shillelagh & District (F) fixture scheduled for Sunday, 10th January, the track remained unfit for racing.

This fixture will now take place Saturday 16th January and the original entries stand.

Furthermore, the Muskerry (F) fixture at Aghabullogue scheduled to take place on Sunday, 10th January has been abandoned due to operational reasons with no plans to reschedule.
