Exciting French recruit Harrie is set to spearhead a strong team of horses for the the burgeoning Supreme Horse Racing Club this season.

The successful syndicate is now firmly established as a major part of Willie Mullins' yard, with a team of around 30 horses currently on their books.

Grade One-winning mare Airlie Beach and Royal Ascot hero Pique Sous have recently been retired, but the team are hopeful of another strong campaign.

Steve Massey, racing manager for the owners, said: "Finding another Airlie Beach is obviously going to be difficult, but we've got some really nice young horses coming through and we're excited about the coming weeks and months."

The aforementioned Harrie was second on his only previous start in France for the same trainer from whom Mullins sourced Pont Alexandre and Arctic Fire, among others.

The five-year-old chestnut is already in ante-post lists for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, with race sponsors Sky Bet offering 25-1.

"Harrie is a really nice horse who finished second on his only run in France," said Massey.

"The form has worked out well and while he's a big horse and a chaser in the making, we're hoping he'll do well in novice hurdles this season.

"I would imagine it will be November at the earliest before we see him on the track."

Bunk Off Early and Kemboy were both high-class novice hurdlers for the team last season.

Bunk Off Early, second to stablemate Bacardys in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown in February, is back in work after undergoing colic surgery in the spring. The roan gelding is pencilled in for a comeback over hurdles over the Christmas period.

Kemboy, fifth in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, is also set to remain over the smaller obstacles this season.

Massey added: "Kemboy won on his first run for us at Limerick before finishing second to Willie's good mare Let's Dance at Leopardstown.

"He was the first of the Irish home in the Neptune, which was a cracking effort for one so inexperienced and he's summered well.

"He's rated 142 over hurdles and considering he's only a five-year-old, we're hopeful there is more improvement in him."

Ainsi Va La Vie stretched her unbeaten record to three in a Listed bumper at Gowran Park last week and is set to head straight over hurdles on her next start.

Cadmium, not seen since winning on his hurdling debut at Limerick last December, will go down the novice chasing route this winter.

The club has a handful of bumper horses set for action this season and Massey gave special mention to a horse named Monday In Milan, a five-year-old son of Ask.

"Monday In Milan won a schooling bumper nicely in the spring, so we know he has ability," he said.

"He's a big, strong horse who will make a chaser down the line, but we're hoping he'll win his bumper at some stage this season and shares are available in him at the moment."
