The Munster Beginners Chase is the main race at Limerick and Lisrose is expected to appreciate a drop back in distance.

After finishing third on her chasing debut at Kilbeggan in May, Henry de Bromhead's mare was sent off a well-backed favourite on her reappearance run over two and three-quarter miles at Tramore and was going well before weakening two fences from home.

She has some decent hurdles form and looks to have been found a good opportunity to strike in this sphere.

Luddsdenene has already had five chances over the larger obstacles, but last month's moderate comeback effort over hurdles at Naas was entitled to be needed.

The six-race card starts at 1.00 with the Christmas Festival December 26th-29th Maiden Hurdle and Prince Chaparral sets the standard on his fourth to Pique Sous at Thurles.

If there is a dark horse lurking amongst his rivals, perhaps it is Fire Belt, whose bumper form in 2010 entitles him to a deal of respect.

The Flying Doc showed a bit more sparkle in a Wexford bumper last month and looks sure to play a leading role in the Munster Mares Maiden Hurdle.

She could have most to fear from Daisyanabelle, who is obviously better than she showed when pulling up at Thurles earlier in the month.

Recent Punchestown fourth Spiker The Biker is still open to some improvement and looks on a tempting mark for the Greenmount Annual Membership (QR) Handicap Hurdle, while Sensational Sema rates a good bet for Tony Martin and Ruby Walsh in the Askeaton Handicap Chase.

Galway winner Yeoman tops the weights for the concluding Friends Of Greenmount Handicap Chase, but Charlie Swan's five-year-old The Shoe Doctor has more in the way of potential and he was looking menacing before coming to grief at Punchestown last month.
