Unaccompanied is set to return over jumps to defend her crown in the Istabraq Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown on December 29.

The Moyglare Stud-owned five-year-old beat Thousand Stars in the Grade One event 12 months ago but is likely to face an even sterner test this time around, with Hurricane Fly likely to be a hot favourite.

"She's very well and she schooled under Davy Russell (on Tuesday) at Fairyhouse. She went very nicely," Weld told At The Races.

"She'll reappear in the Festival Hurdle at Leopardstown. She's won two Grade One hurdles races and she's a multiple stakes performer on the Flat.

"We'll know more as the season progresses, but she'll run at Christmas, then probably run in the Irish Champion Hurdle.

"We'll then make a decision whether she would go to Cheltenham or revert to running on the Flat."
