Gavin Cromwell's horses are in tremendous form and he sent out another winner, his ninth in the last 21 days, when Theonewedreamof landed the four-year-old handicap hurdle under Luke Dempsey.

A winner over 1m4f at Roscommon in August, the daughter of French Navy made the most of an opening mark of 92 in this sphere.

Having raced just behind the leaders in a steadily-run affair, the 11/1 winner was driven to challenge on the run to the last where she pricked her ears and was a shade deliberate in jumping. Driven out by Dempsey on the run-in, she forged two and a half lengths clear of the 13/8 favourite Ludus who, not helped by a mistake three out, couldn't manage the concession of 17lb to the winner.

“She's a gutsy little filly. I thought she had a place chance and I'm delighted with that,” said Cromwell.

“I'm not sure where we go from here but we'll find another handicap for her somewhere.”
