< Pleascach justified 9-10 favouritism when landing the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Leopardstown under Kevin Manning.

Jim Bolger had started her career in a Group Three at the Curragh four days ago, finishing fourth, and his evident confidence in her was firmly justified second time around, as she reeled in long-time leader Simply A Star before going on to score by two and three-quarter lengths.

Bolger and Manning made it a double on the card when Spring Focus (5-2) landed the 'HamsandwicH' Handicap.

Favourite Tarziyna appeared to be travelling slightly better on the home turn, but Spring Focus ran on strongest in the final furlong to score by a length and three-quarters from Mr Snagsby < Bertie Le Belge got up in the dying strides to land the Visit The Leopardstown Circle Lounge Race under Colin Keane.

Ger Lyons' 7-4 favourite appeared to be booked for second as Itorio attempted to make all, but Keane galvanised the winner in the closing stages, getting up close to the line to record a half-length verdict.< Flic Flac defied top weight to land the Bulmers Original Summer Music Night Handicap.

Dermot Weld's filly showed a smart turn of foot under Robbie Downey to sweep into the lead a furlong out, but the 7-1 chance was all out to defy Ramone s late charge by a neck.

There were no worries for Weld's second winner as Pacelli Road (16-1) screamed past his rivals to land the Independence Day Handicap under Fran Berry.< Korbous landed his first victory since May 2012 when taking the Follow Leopardstown On Facebook Apprentice Rated Race under Leigh Roche.

Dick Brabazon's 7-2 chance tracked favourite Artistic Integrity through the early stages and was travelling much the best at the two-furlong pole.

Once hitting the front, he didn't appear to be doing too much, but he still held off the late surge of Our Max to win by a length.
