Ger Lyons is excited at what the future might hold for new recruit Chopin.

The former Andreas Wohler inmate has transferred to Lyons' County Meath stables and will continue to sport the Qatar Racing silks this season.

Beaten under four lengths in the 2013 Epsom Derby, Chopin was last seen finishing fourth in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury in May.

The five-year-old entire holds entries in the Big Bad Bob Gladness Stakes in April and the Tattersalls Gold Cup a month later, but plans are fluid.

Lyons said: "I'm only just getting to know him.

"Until I start running him I wouldn't know quite where we stand with him just yet.

"He's a nice horse, though, and he's not in your face.

"You'd like to think he's a Group Three/Group Two sort of a horse."
